Feng Shui Voice

Listening to the Voice of Feng Shui

Green Dragons, White Tigers, Black Turtles and your New House

Feng shui, for the few folks out there who haven’t heard about it, is the ancient Chinese science of determining and altering the effects of the environment on our lives. If you listen to some of the claims made for feng shui, it holds all the secrets to health, wealth and happiness wrapped up in a few coins and some wind chimes. All you have to do is anchor your house with a Black Turtle, get a Red Phoenix to nest in front of it and find a White Tiger and a Green Dragon to protect its flanks. If all that sounds suspiciously like semi-mystical mumbo-jumbo, it may be because our practical English isn’t informed by the cultural mythology of China. Before you run out to find green dragon and white tiger statues, read on and learn a little about finding your perfect home with feng shui.

Feng shui proposes that in addition to the energy forces that we can see and feel – like wind – there are also invisible and unfelt forces of energy that affect our bodies and our minds. Some practitioners have tried to explain these forces by using the metaphor of a magnet. We can’t see the attractive and repellent forces themselves, but we can see their effects if we try to push together the wrong ends of two magnets. The magnetic forces repel each other.

In feng shui, the life force is called chi (or qi). There are two opposite types of chi – yin, the female, passive, receptive force, and yang, the male, active and repellant force. These forces are in constant flow and movement on, in and above the earth. Certain land formations and structures can help attract, channel and direct both types of chi. That’s the basic concept that underlies most practical feng shui.

So what’s that got to do with picking the right house?

When you choose a house, you look for congenial neighbors, good schools, the distance to and from work and other destinations, the view – why not look at the land forms and structures around the house and how they may or may not encourage positive energy to flow into your home – and stay with you? That’s essentially what a feng shui consultant does – examines the flow of energy and makes suggestions based on his or her observations. Ideally, a feng shui consultant will also want to know the birth dates of the people who will live in the house to help him or her determine specific suggestions for locating rooms and furnishings, but there are some general guidelines for situating houses that you might find helpful.

In feng shui, every house has four guardians. These guardians are given the names of mythical Chinese animals. If you stand facing your house, the left side is the place for the Green Dragon and the right is where you should find the White Tiger. At the back of your house, there should be a Black Turtle and in front of it, a Red Phoenix. The Green Dragon should be stronger than the White Tiger. The Black Turtle should be higher than the house, and the Red Phoenix should be lower than the house.

Now let’s cut away the poetry and talk in plain English. Ideally, your home should be protected on both sides and in the front and the back by some structure or land formation. You can see how practical this advice is if you consider that wind is an energy force. If energy currents carry life force, then it only makes sense to locate your home in such a way that it is protected from destructive forces while inviting and holding protective ones.

Black Turtle

Feng shui experts will tell you to look for Black Turtle behind your house. Black Turtle “supports” your house. Traditionally, it’s a hill or a mountain, but these days a wall or building behind your house could serve the same purpose. If you can find or build your house so that there is a hill, mountain or other tall land form behind it, Black Turtle will have your back. If not, you can always build a wall or plant a hedge of trees. Practically, it makes sense to shield your house from high, strong winds and lashing rains.

Red Phoenix

At the front, the feng shui ideal house would have a lake, pool or meandering stream which encourage the good energies to pool and remain with your house. A lawn or grassy field makes a good Red Phoenix, as does a street with little traffic. According to feng shui wisdom, a house with a strong Red Phoenix, like one facing a busy highway, will tend to drain its residents of energy. Imagine the unconscious stress of the constant rush and noise of a busy street right outside your front window and you begin to see how it all makes practical sense.

Green Dragon and White Tiger

The auspicious home also has protectors to the right and left sides of the house, usually in the form of elevations – a hill, a wall, another building – even a row of hedges or a fence can serve the purpose. In feng shui terms, the green dragon and white tiger guard your home (and you) against bad energy. In practical terms, they serve as privacy screens and wind breaks.

What if the house you love has bad feng shui?

You could just figure that if you love the house, the feng shui can’t be all bad. But any good feng shui consultant can recommend cures to mitigate any bad feng shui. You might plant a hedge on the right side of the house to bolster the white tiger, or put a fountain in the front yard if your red phoenix needs help.

When you consider how practical many of the suggestions offered by feng shui consultants are, it’s really not surprising that many of the most beautiful and congenial houses you’ll view have good feng shui. If you don’t believe me, look for the white tiger and green dragon next time you go house shopping. You’ll see.

House Energy Correction, Horoscopes, Karma & Crystal Energy Fields : Part II

HOUSE ENERGY CORRECTION, HOROSCOPES, KARMA & CRYSTAL ENERGY FIELDS : PART II

House Energy Correction is the concept of controlling the 8 Directional Energies; 7 Chakras and 7 Energy Bodies of the People; Boosting and Balancing the 5 Elements of the Lands & Buildings. Simply stated, it is the Total Energy Rectification of Horoscopes of the Family Members and Business Partners; Vaastu and Fengshui Energy Correction for their Lands & Buildings. Read the revealing FAQs about unique Crystal Energy Fields based on the Ancient Siddha Programming Techniques for Karma Correction. This is the second of a series of 3 parts of FAQs.

Question 9 : Can you describe a Special Feature or a Special Crystal Energy Field ?

Oh yes. There are 3 high end CEF series called Crystal Karma Gate, Crystal Karma Galaxy and Universal Crystal Galaxy (Rainbow Series). There are many special features in these models, eventhough one aspect really stands out. It is that they have a built-in Energy Ball Generator : all of your morally and ethically correct positive thoughts, wishes and tasks – whether personal or professional – are assigned to individually created (invisible) Energy Balls. The Energy Balls are programmed and energised accordingly and automatically, so that they maintain the right level of energy push and energy pressure until the event happens or the wish realises, fully. Fantastic, isn’t it ? To learn more about the newly launched Crystal Energy Fields, browse http://www.crystal-vaastu.com/whatisnew.htm

Question 10 : How long does it take you to create a Crystal Energy Field (CEF) and then for results ?

My CEFs are custom built from the scratch. They are not to be compared with market-ready Reiki Grids and the like. Depending upon the model, anywhere between 4 to 12 weeks will be needed. The results start coming after the first 3 months of installation of the Crystal Energy Fields.

Question 11 : What happens when the client shifts his house or office – does he have to redo the House Energy Correction once again ?

I am glad you asked this question. Unlike other remedies which are place-oriented, mine is customer-oriented. All my CEFs are programmed to re-tune themselves to any new house or office, automatically. Which means when a client shifts to a new building, his CEF auto-tunes itself for this new place. It cleanses, boosts and balances the 5 Elements of the new land and building and integrates it to the client’s family karma. In fact the CEF is safely installed inside a box that is comfortably portable.

Question 12 : And if there are any Vaastu or Feng Shui defects in the building ?

Any negative energy arising out of defects in Vaastu (Indian Vedic Vastu Vaastu Vasthu Vaasthu Shastra) or Fengshui (Chinese Feng Shui) are fully nullified by the CEF. There is no need for any alteration or demolition. Similarly the Geopathic Stress Levels as per the European Bau Biologie (Building Biology) are also totally corrected.

Question 13 : What about the people who live in rented house or shared apartments ?

It does not make any difference whether the native is living in own house or rented house or is sharing a flat with several other occupants. The House Energy Correction is done for a particular family or individual in the specific context of their currently residing living space. When the native shifts to another rented or own building, the CEF automatically does Energy Correction for this new living space. All other occupants continue to exist as per their Karma. There is no clash of interests here.

Question 14 : What if the different members of the same family live in different homes ?

Even if different members of the same family live in different homes or even different countries, still my CEF will reach out to them with ease. Only thing is that the CEF used for House Energy Correction will be of a different category with some high end Crystal Programming.

Question 15 : What you are saying is that your House Energy Correction takes into account the Horoscopes of the Family as well as the Vaastu/ Feng Shui/Bau Biologie of their property ?

Absolutely, but it is more and beyond that. It envelopes not only Birth Horoscopes but also Progressive and Gochara Horoscopes. It not only takes care of Vedic Vaastu Shastra, Oriental Feng Shui & European Bau-Biologie, but also the concepts of Gochara Vaastu and the Chinese Flying Stars Fengshui too.

Question 16 : Reverting back to our earlier conversation, how does “Programming” differ from “Energising” ?

“Energising” is the process of filling the remedy (whether it is Crystal or Feng Shui Cure or Pyramid or Sacred Geometry Yantra) with auspicious and positive energy, to last for a long, long time. “Programming” is the process of empowering the energy itself. In other words, “Programming” means defining and dedicating the positive energy to execute and complete specific tasks for specific people. Mere energising is not enough. Programming of remedies is a must.

A classical example will be the Computer. Like Computer, any good remedy is a powerful hardware. But you need to connect and switch on the Computer to make it active and stay alive – which is “energising”. For the Computer to operate meaningfully, you need a proper software. That is the “programming” part.

Question 17 : How do you say your Crystal Energy Fields are “custom-built” ?

Crystal Grids or Crystal Energy Fields sold in the market are based on some regular designs, say, for healing or health. Here the crystals are simply assembled, mounted, (some are even) energised and sold off to the customer. There is either no programming at all or very rudimentary programming. The crystals are not selected exclusively for the customer or for his specific problems. A classical example would be what is popularly called as a Reiki Crystal Grid.

In my case, the Crystal Shape, Crystal Colour, Crystal Power and the Quantity of the Crystals are individually selected based on the Karma of the customer’s family, business, lands, buildings and the problems he is facing as well as those he would likely face, in the future. Then the Crystals are Programmed and Energised. The Crystal Energy Field is near-permanent. It will work only for the programmed tasks, for the programmed people only. There is no energy loss involved. Thus it is custom-built.

Question 18 : How do you decide which particular CEF is most suitable to a particular c;lient ?

The Energy Consultant, who builds the CEF, is necessarily a Clairvoyant, Clairsentient and Clairaudiant, apart from other qualifications. With Clairvoyance or Sookshma Drishti, the CEF Consultant scans the Energy Levels of the People, Lands & the Buildings. Without Clairvoyance, one cannot practice Energy Correction. Sometimes, Divining Tools like Tarot Decks, Runes & I-Ching Coins also are used. This Energy Reading Consultancy process is also called as an Energy Audit. You can learn more about the Energy Reading here : http://www.crystal-vaastu.com/energy_audit.htm.

Question 19 : What does an Energy Audit or Energy Consultancy reveal ?

Energy Consultancy or Energy Audit helps one to better understand his/her energy levels which actually influence everything in his/her life. The resulting LifeForce Energy Assessment Report will briefly furnish the following details :

(1) the Energy Beams that a person (or his/her family or his/her house or office) receives from all the 8 Directions (including planetary energy streams) – whether they are positive or negative and in what percentage and what their impacts are;

(2) the personal energy levels of the person : energy conditions of the Energy Centers or Chakras and the Energy Bodies;

(3) the balance or the imbalance of the Five Elements of the person’s land and building;

(4) identifying root causes of problems, Karmic baggage, if any, etc.;

(5) Recommending the ideal CEF (Crystal Energy Field) for the person (or family or business), not just to solve the current problems but to correct the Karma itself.

Jupiter: King Daddy Of The High Rollers(Your Indispensible Need To Win) Ninth House

MODE Of Cosmic Therapy: Life’s A Carnival Ride!

“…Is That All There Is My Friend, Then Let’s Keep On Dancing…” as sung by the incomparable Peggy Lee; the words spell out the insufferabe  lack of concern fever in the 9th House. “Show me something worth looking at.” Sets the ‘hard to impress’ state of affairs. Jupiter, the king daddy of disinterest supposedly rules the natural 9th house by default. Rightly so. But let’s veer a little closer into the wizard’s box of goodies. There, we just might find an interesting paradox. First of all, before we do, find the house where Sagittarius is selling tickets to the cosmic esoteric show. Next, locate the Santa Claus Persona (Jupiter). Where is he hanging out? Just make a mental note of these two highly important integral parts to the puzzle. We’ll get back to them, later. Maybe…

Blessing, ah! What a beautiful word. So they say. But I say who determines the acidity of the blessing stew? Blessings; same word with an additional letter tacked on the end. [Such a different form of the same force; interesting, yes?] It is said in astrological circles of merit and decree that Jupiter is in charge of dispersing the gifts in this magnification department. At the same time, if you harbor any resentment, bitterness or unexpressed animosity toward another person, he will also magnify that. And, let us not even mention weight issues. (Whatever weighs heavy on the mind will undoubtedly weigh obtrusively heavy on the scales.)

Unless you have a divine passion for living, get out of the game is more on the tone of what he expresses. You’ll either carry your own baggage or you’ll miss the train bound for nowhere. OH! Did I say nowhere? I’m afraid I did. That’s what Jupiter knows that you don’t. It’s a lot of hullabaloo for nothing. If you get in touch with the ancient art of Feng Shui, it’ll bring much more benefit and satiety. You must learn to see the extraordinary in the ordinary. Cease thinking there is some grand event that is coming in the future that is going to bring you ultimate joy. No such thing. The grand thing you seek is found within the depths of your very own blemish-less soul. It has no need or desire for the bright lights of the city. The soul is gentle, kind, unassuming and without guile. So too, must you conduct yourself in this manner. 1, 2, 3, 4, and back again Is this right?

The major point understated in the 9th house is: you are the reflection of your soul’s thirst for pure raw unadulterated experience. Where is it found? {In the eyes of your so called enemy or the most unbearable event you ever lived through.} Be Where Your Feet Are so dictates the ninth house, but Jupiter carries it one step further, and, declares openly at a full volume melodramatic ‘spit in your face’ voice, don’t count your blessings, either. Why would the planet of benevolence say something so bizarre? Because by counting you are comparing! Not allowed.

Did anyone ever tell you that you are a god in the making, a master of divine essence? Well, you are. And, because you are there are certain perks that go along with sacred territory. This is an unprecedented honor bestowed on all mortals, worthy or not. The ninth house declares you are invincible! (But, the dark human side of that is, you don’t believe it.) You conduct your life in such a mousy/squirrelly fashion; no one would ever suspect your sacred omnificent heritage. Your ruthless soul (Jupiter disguised as a male braggart) is forced to witness you in operation as you pretend to be helpless, hopeless, penniless, loveless, and scared of your own shadow.

What is the sign on your ninth house? How do you act out these convincing scenarios? What is the planet ruing the 9th house? Where is that planet located? So who do you use to secure your devious willfully crafted schemes? {The plot thickens}

She (He In disguise) has to see you connive to control people and situations, lie to accumulate more material possessions for yourself and family and seek to possess position, fame, fortune and power so that you raise yourself up a notch. It’s truly a pitiful sight! All of your subconscious fears, doubts, insecurities, suspicions, worries, ghosts, inhibitions, shadows, along with the ability to lie, cheat, steal, and kill don on your immobilized imposter face snugly plastered by a caring smile. You even attend church to show publicly what a benevolent person you are! Until the severe lessons of personal superficiality are exposed and dealt with the buck stops here. Jupiter pulls the reigns by giving you more of what you think you want, but really don’t.

Jupiter has nothing whatsoever to with solidarity. Those, who, unjustly believe he has, are sorely mistaken. Jupiter is all about getting something for nothing, taking the easy way, using others for personal gain and benefit, going the fastest, having the shiniest, doing the most in the least amount of time and waving farewell to the do-gooders on his way to the local horse races.(Or foot ball game, etc.) If aint fun, he damn sure aint going to do it! Anyplace he doesn’t have to toil by the sweat of his brow is where he’ll be kicked back under a shade tree or fishing. Redemption? From what? He’s a REAL player; no need to be redeemed.

He serves himself first, foremost and always. It’s everyman for himself. Cast him down, thwart, divert, lure and sabotage him and he will make a game out of it. As ironic as it may sound, it is this house alone is where the true treasures of the soul are discovered and used to uplift humanity. Not when you think you are doing it but in spite of you. This is the house where all the mind games end. The demon you’ve been hiding in your basement rears up to bite you first before he is deported forever. If you are not killed (slain) by his aggressive unrelenting mocking, sarcasm, and injurious words of debasement, you will rise to ecstasy in victory. And, laugh like a mad man in the process. Did I also mention Jupiter loves to laugh?

Always remember and never forget: You can not co-habituate with Jupiter. He spots a phony before you can open your mouth. He’ll flee quicker than a rabbit in hot pursuit if you try to force him to entertain you. No longer can you sing that same old song to him about how you don’t think you are good enough, worthy enough, smart enough, pretty enough, young enough, savvy enough, rich enough or sexy enough. Lies. All lies. The demon of your false personality (he’s sporting) is the author of lies/ deceit and as long as you harbor him like a fugitive he will destroy you with his incessant pleas of recognition and constant desire for more to try to satisfy him. It’s all a hoax. You can’t satisfy him. He (Jupiter) already has everything, silly!

You must beat him at his own game. Jacks are wild, double or nothing!

Make Your House Your Home ? How London Interior Design Companies Work with Lighting

Make Your House Your Home – How London Interior Design Companies Work with Lighting

Part II: Natural Lighting Effects

Natural light is responsible for everything we see in the world around us. At interior design companies, light informs the designers’ perception of colour, it determines how we read, shape and texture, and it animates our surroundings with patterns of light and shadow. Yet despite its importance, light is often taken for granted – even by some of London’s better-known interior design companies. An increasingly urban lifestyle does not lend itself to making the most of daylight and often many of our waking hours are spent indoors in semi-darkness. Interior Design Companies are out to change this, and in this second article of my two-part series on “How Interior Design Companies Work with Lighting” I will reveal the secrets of natural light and its influence on design, drawing from my experience in London working with some of the capital’s most prestigious interior design companies.

By observing natural light, we can start to appreciate how light actually works. Interior design companies often talk of principles such as downlighting, where afternoon sunshine grazes a wall of illuminated foliage; backlighting, where a leaf is revealed in silhouette during a fresh London dawn; crosslighting, where the surface texture of brickwork or gnarled wood is emphasised; and spotlighting where a narrow shaft of light catches an object in its path, perhaps as a train turns a corner in a London Underground tunnel. Interior design companies rely on their experience in harnessing the ability of shadows to conceal. Some of the most adventurous clients demand special effects – I have seen interior design companies being asked to recreate the “drama of a rainbow as it paints a coloured arc across the sky.” Definitely not a straightforward project! Nonetheless, each light effect has its own character and contributes to a harmonious balance.

I once saw top professionals from a famous London interior design company actually sitting down with graph paper to chart the passage of the sun during a twenty-four hour period for a prestigious residential project. The client was a feng shui practitioner, and he had asked the interior design company to guarantee a positive orientation for his living spaces. After plotting out the sun’s pathway, the interior design company used CAD to project how the sun would appear during different seasons – taking into account how little daylight there can be during London winters. The result was breathtaking and a stunning example of how natural lighting can be used to “make a house a home.”

The essential Feng Shui checklist for buying a house

Number of bedrooms
Transport links
Close to the school
Close to work
Has a garage
Good sized garden
Etc.

The majority of us have a checklist when we are looking for the right property and it often determines whether we even bother to get the details or go to view it.  However, many people often discard the same checklist if the house ‘feels right’.  I believe in estate agent speak it’s called ‘compromise’.

Of course the practical checklist is important but life, and being happy and healthy in your environment, is about much more than being practical.  In fact, to ensure that any house is capable of being the right home to support you and your family, you need to go beyond the practical and venture into the impractical.

Feng Shui practitioners may not like to be considered impractical but they can help you see the world in a very different way.  Their services can be used for many things including finding the right home (whether it’s a purchase or rental), deciding between two properties or even the right business or retail premises.

If you want to bring Feng Shui into your home buying process there are four additions you need to add to your practical checklist:

Predecessor Chi
Form school
Compass school
Geopathic stress

Predecessor Chi is the energy that the building or land has accumulated or inherited throughout its existence.  This could come from the inhabitants that have lived there, the people who built it, its use before it was a dwelling or the use of the land before the house was built.

Healthy Chi is fluid and vibrant but, in the same way it can have an effect on living beings so living beings can have an effect on Chi.  Any negative emotions such as fear, hate or anger can, if repeatedly experienced, clog the Chi causing it to become stagnant and heavy.  The walls of any building can literally soak this up and hold it there.

Think of walking into a church and sitting down.  In most cases it’s a calming experience.  It’s quiet and meditative.  It’s you soaking up some of the church’s collective Chi.

Think of walking into a room where two people have been arguing.  You become tense and sense the atmosphere.  Again you’re soaking up the Chi of the room.

It’s important to consider Predecessor Chi because it will have an effect on you, whether you consciously sense it or not.

Form school is all about how the building fits into the environment and whether the environment supports it or not.  An ideal building would have an open Phoenix which brings beneficial Chi to it for nourishment.  At the back it would have a strong Mountain for support and to stop the Chi from the Phoenix escaping.  It would also have a beneficial Dragon and Tiger on either side sweeping round to the Mountain to balance the male and female aspects of the Chi.

Although Form School originated in the natural landscape, using real mountains and rivers and wide open plains, in this modern world a Feng Shui practitioner will understand the urban environment and adapt it to Form School principles.

Compass School considers both the orientation and layout of the building.  The main door of the building is considered a mouth that receives Chi and the nature of that Chi differs depending on its direction.

In addition Compass School attributes different types of Chi to different areas of the building so missing sectors (where the building blueprint is not square or rectangular) will mean that the building will be missing certain elements.  This doesn’t always translate into a problem because, as people we are all different and have different requirements.  However, circumstances change with time and any missing sectors should be considered.

Compass School also shows us the placement of auspicious areas enabling us to choose the best place for cooking, socialising and sleeping and it can guide us on colour and furnishings that will enhance good Chi and calm down not so good Chi.

Geopathic Stress is activity taking place underground that causes areas on the surface to vibrate at a level that is not beneficial to humans and a lot of animals and plants.  If you spend too long in an area of Geopathic Stress, such as sleeping or working, it will have a detrimental effect on your immune system which could lead to chronic health problems.

Feng Shui practitioners are often dowsers and will use these skills to pinpoint where Geopathic Stress may be having a detrimental effect.

These four areas are very worthy of consideration and, if you get it right, can make the difference between buying a house and buying a home.  If all four boxes can’t be ticked, and it’s a very rare property that could, there are lots of ways to improve, cure or negate the effects.  So, what may put off potential buyers because they don’t ‘feel comfortable there’ leaves the market open for you if the building ticks everything else on your checklist.

My twelve page Feng Shui House Buyer’s Guide goes into this in a lot more detail: how to recognise good Chi and not so good Chi; what’s important and not so important, remedies and cures.  Study it careful and you will pick up a lot of tips and information that you can use in every aspect of your life.
