Turn Around your Life for the Better With Easy to Implement Feng Shui Tips
Our life goes round in a full circle and in every person’s life there are a number of ups and downs, which bring about changes in our circumstances from time to time. Our endeavor is to always better our state of being, using all possible means available to us. One such uncommon method of improving the state of things is the use and implementation of Feng Shui tips in our day to day life. Feng shui is the ancient Chinese practice of balancing the elements and energies around our living space to achieve harmony and prosperity in the four major aspects of our life which are health, wealth, career and relationships. Each element like earth, water, air and fire are related to these various aspects and this practice helps us to balance them perfectly.
Feng Shui tips are applied by keeping the basic intent in mind, as to which aspect would an individual like to strengthen and which negativity would he like to dispense off. As for example, if you are interested in advancing your career then the Feng Shui tips provided to you would be greatly different from those provided to an individual who is more concerned with building his personal relationships. Also, an individual’s kua number is of great importance while applying the tips as the kua number decides the lucky and unlucky directions of the person and accordingly the tips can be implemented. It the element of water is good for activating one’s career luck but his personal number advises him to stay away from the colors of blue and black, representing water, then a balance has to be drawn between the two.
The advice and guidance of a Feng shui expert is essential while implementing any Feng shui tips in your life and living space. As this is a powerful tool that can shuffle the positive and negative energies around you to benefit you if used properly, the reverse can also happen if inaccurately used and implemented. Keeping a water body is good for career but if placed in the wrong room or direction it can cause great loss through theft or possible infidelity in an otherwise strong relationship. Hence, maintaining caution while using the tips is of prime importance.
Always take the advice of an expert while implementing feng shui tips for your home or office. In today’s time more and more people are realizing the benefits of alternative practices for improving the quality of life. Hence feng shui is also a prominent feature in many websites, magazines and even television shows. Many of us get mislead by the advice given on such forums and wrongly implement the tips, only to cause more harm than good. It is therefore crucial that the tips are implemented in the right way to provide the greatest benefit to the individuals. Use the guidance to balance the various elements and energies, both Yin (female) and Yang (male) to achieve perfect harmony, peace and prosperity in every aspect of your life be it health, wealth, career or relationships.

The Easy Way to Feng Shui
Decorating your home along the lines of feng shui principles is a little alien to some. However, those who practice the art of feng shui insist that it has brought about many positive changes in their life.
Early feng shui relied on astronomy to find correlations between humans and the universe. In fact, all capital cities of China followed rules of feng shui for their design and layout. These rules were codified during the Zhou era in the “Kaogong ji” (Manual of Crafts). Rules for builders were codified in the “Lu ban jing” (Carpenter’s Manual). Graves and tombs also followed rules of feng shui. From the earliest records, it seems that the rules for the structures of the graves and dwellings were the same.
Surely a practice that has been developed and implemented by so many billions of people through the ages must have value in it, so what should you look for when buying a home?
You should start by checking the surrounding property. The Chinese believe it is good to have a tortoise behind you for support. This imaginary support could come from a mountain, another house, a row of trees, a building, a fence or anything similar. It’s also good to have a dragon to the left in the form of another house, a tree or even a large fence line and a tiger to the right (looking out from the front). Again this can be a smaller house or tree. In an ideal world you’ll also have a phoenix to the front in the shape of open ground, road, a roundabout or even a circular flower border.
Working against you are poison arrows. Lampposts, telephone poles, or the corner of house pointing at you can be perceived as negative. However, a well placed Ba Gua mirror to reflect the problems away will fix most issues.
Moving on, the back garden should always be larger than the front, so look for balance. Also, try and avoid having a long narrow path leading to your front door, a winding path is much better than a straight one.
Wherever possible, avoid a house with a spiral staircase, as it turns positive energy into negative, if you have one already hang a faceted crystal sphere at the top to try and slow it down. It won’t cure the problem entirely but it will help.
It’s best not to have swimming pools, gazebos, patios, ponds or any other structure in the garden that dwarf the house, try and do everything in proportion to your home. A regular shaped property is also the most ideal, so shy away from properties that have odd looking designs, the best shape is the traditional rectangle or square.
If you can see the back door from the front door (in a straight line), ideally you should place something in between, or if there is a door close it. This point causes much confusion, it is only considered bad if the front door is in a straight line with the rear door, if you can see your rear door from the front but it does not run in a straight line that is okay. Windows or doors should not be too big or small, again look for a balance. Avoid ceilings that are too high or irregular shaped; flat or domed ceilings are best.
Perhaps the biggest tip of all is not to be too paranoid. Most of the things within a home that cause feng shui problems can be rectified. The key is to allow feng shui to help you, not use it as a reason to find new things to worry about!

Feng Shui Remedies – Cure Your Home The Easy Way
Feng shui remedies can be found to help you counter any problems that could be the result of the structure of a house or the location of furniture within it. Good feng shui will be achieved when the structure and furniture placement are conducive to liberate the flow of ‘qi’ or energy inside the home. Unless built from scratch aided by the art of placement in mind, most homes are not optimized for being beneficial for you. That’s the reason it really is necessary for you to learn about how and where to utilize cures throughout your home.
Colors are often very effective remedies and they can easily be used to handle problem areas. The balance of a room or a home may be off as a result of missing elements. Since colors basically represent elements, the applying of color associated with the missing element can be used for a cure. This is done in the form of simply adding decorative objects in the specified color or you may even paint entire walls based on how important the element is to the part of the room.
Furniture placement can also be a major reason for problems in the home. There are several guidelines about how furniture ought to be placed in each room in the house. If your furniture is not placed in a way that is beneficial towards you, you’re able to easily change things around by rearranging the furniture. The main piece of furniture in each room ought to be in a commanding position and every one of the other pieces can be placed around it. Sometimes however, the structure of the room or the whole home makes it impossible to generate changes by simply rearranging furniture. If that is so, special tools can be used as a cure.
Tools that are specifically useful to cure bad feng shui include wind chimes, crystal balls and water fountains. Mirrors are also very effective, so are candles and live plants. Each of the tools represent one of the five elements and can be utilized in the home in areas which have been meant for that element. Some are employed to protect, others to shift the flow of ‘qi’, no matter what the aim is, these tools tend to be quite powerful if used correctly.
Improve your surroundings with good feng shui remedies. Choose from faceted crystal ball, wind chimes, the money tree plant, the bamboo lucky plant and more to help achieve better feng shui results in your home.

Feng Shui Your Financial Worries Away: 5 Easy Steps
Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese art of placing items in a location for maximum balance, harmony and châi (energy) flow, has been used for centuries to help people improve their lives. One of the areas which Feng Shui can help with is personal finances. By following the 5 easy Feng Shui cures outlined below, you will attract prosperity to yourself and your family.
1. Keep money from going down the drain. Literally. Cover or close the drains in your bathtubs, showers, and sinks to prevent the flow of positive châi out of your house and into the sewer system. Sure, the sewer system could benefit from the châi, but taking steps to keep it in your house will help improve the energy of your house overall, including the financial energy. This simple, powerful step can immediately increase the châi in your home.
2. Locate the wealth and prosperity areas of your home. Visualize your apartment or house as a giant square, divided into 9 equal areas (3 rows of 3 squares each). Sketch out your living space on paper if you prefer something concrete. According to the bagua map, wealth and prosperity dwell in the rear left hand corner (when looking into your home from your front door). Make a note of which room it is. Donât worry if your home is not a perfect square- few are. Approximate as closely as possible where it would be. In my own home, the wealth and prosperity area is in my oldest sonâs room. I have still applied the Feng Shui cures with success, and it still looks like a childâs room.
3. Locate your power prosperity area. The power prosperity area of your home can be found by applying the bagua map within the wealth and prosperity area you found in step 2. Stand in the doorway facing the area (or imagine a doorway, if it is an open space), and divide the room into a 3 x 3 square as in step 2. The rear left hand corner will be the wealth and prosperity section of the wealth and prosperity area of your home: your power prosperity area! Make a note of it.
4. Apply Feng Shui cures to the wealth and prosperity area.  First, look at the area. Is it clean and organized, or messy and cluttered? If it is messy and cluttered, châi cannot flow freely through the area and attract prosperity. Make any necessary repairs in the room. Broken blinds, squeaky door hinges, or holes in the wall detract from your pleasure in the room, and bring negative energy, taking away positive châi from the space.
5. Apply feng shui cures to the power prosperity area. Faceted crystals hung in the corner of the room help châi flow gracefully throughout the space, attracting prosperity. Wind chimes, particularly those that have a pleasant, gentle sound and a design or shape that signifies prosperity to you in some manner (for example, shaped like a coin, has the color green in it) will also help bring positive energy and increase châi flow in this vital area of your home. Consider placing a tabletop indoor fountain in the area to bring the soothing sounds of nature indoors, and aid in châi flow. Add a decorative bowl filled with coins to represent the prosperity you are asking the universe to provide for you, so that the châi may flow over it and stimulate your personal finances.
By following the above steps and improving the châi flow in your home, particularly in the wealth and prosperity areas and your power prosperity area, you can expect your financial picture to begin to improve within weeks. Feng Shui, coupled with intent, is a powerful tool to bring harmony, balance and prosperity to your life.

5 Easy Feng Shui Cures for the Home
The ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui involves the placement of items in a location so that ch’i (energy) can properly flow through the space, bringing balance and harmony to its’ inhabitants. While the true practice of Feng Shui can be very complicated and time-consuming, there are five easy cures to improve the flow of ch’i in the home for the beginner, which I will outline below.
Cure One: Close all toilet seat lids and close or cover all drains (showers, baths, and sinks) when they are not in use. This will prevent the flow of ch’i out of your house and into the sewer system, where it cannot do you and your family any good.
Cure Two: Place mirrors or reposition desks in home offices where you are positioned with your back to the door. This prevents anyone from sneaking up on you (purposely or not!) and startling you, which creates bad energy and robs ch’i from the home.
Cure Three: Minimize clutter! Not only will cleaning off the 3 foot tall pile on the coffee table or mountain of paperwork on your desk add to the visual appeal of your home, it will also allow for greater flow of ch’i. That’s a very good thing.
Cure Four: Look around your house. Does everything work? Replace burnt out light bulbs, fix that broken chair rung you’ve been meaning to get to, or grease the door that squeaks. Besides taking up mental space in a to-do list in your brain, these items detract from your pleasure in your living space, and take away from the positive ch’i. Dedicate a Saturday (or two) to your projects, and reap the benefits! Need help? Make a trade with a friend or neighbor.
Cure Five: Help the ch’i move around the house with wind chimes, indoor fountains, and multi-faceted hanging crystals. Strategically placed in corners, wind chimes help soften the edges of a room. Be sure to pick ones with looks and sounds you love, and hang them out of head-bumping range. Indoor fountains, with the soothing sound of running water, require minimal maintenance, and help bring elements of the outdoors inside. Running water helps enhance the ch’i in a twofold manner: by the motion itself, and by the tranquility and peace a fountain can bring you. Multi-faceted hanging crystals can also help improve the circulation of ch’i in the house by reflecting light. Use these at the end of long hallways, or at entrances/exits of the house, to keep the ch’i from rushing out of the building when doors are opened. Again, be sure to hang them above head-level.
By following these five simple and inexpensive feng shui cures, you too can increase the positive energy, or ch’i, in your home. Happy Feng Shui’ing!
