Since females are not allowed in practicing arts, Eona undergoes years of study to mask or pretend as a boy. So Eona becomes Eon, and a dangerous risk is put into play. Soon, Eon’s ultimate display of skill at the Dragoneye ceremony draws attention of the Emperor himself and summoned to the wealthy court, which places him in the centre of a power struggle between the Emperor and his High Lord brother.
Subjected to the treacherous court politics, Eon tries to escape form the responsibilities given to him, since he gets deviated from his mission in capturing the imperial throne. Soon Eona must learn to believe her powers and find the strength to face a spiteful enemy who would take away her magic and her life.
