Feng Shui Complications for Bedroom?

I’ve been doing a fair share of research into Feng Shui for bedrooms. But my bedroom seems to be designed to make Feng Shui impossible; for example my room has 2 entrances on adjacent walls on opposite sides of the walls, making the "not having your feet point towards a door and leave space on both sides of the bed, and have headboard touch a wall, and be able to see all entrances from bed" part very challenging! Also, on one of the walls there are big book shelves built into the wall making the "don’t sleep under shelves/cabinets/beams" part also hard. Any help would be wonderful!!

Attach the bed to the wall. Sleep vertically by using velcro pajamas. It will improve your circulation as well as your fung shui.

Wow, it does sound like a difficult room to work with!

From a feng shui perspective, your bedroom represents health and relationships. Your bedroom also reflects your inner self, your journey. Ask yourself why you have chosen to sleep in a room that is so ‘difficult’. Don’t you deserve a room that is harmonious and ‘easy’? What is your health (sleep, energy levels) like in this room? Are your relationships (male & female) difficult or troubling at the moment?

If you are happy with poor health & relationships, stay in this room. If you want a better life for yourself, move out and find something wonderful.

    Best Wishes!

it is difficult to learn fengshui by just reading books esp those in english. bec writers just write anything their readers want to hear – a quick fix, which fengshui is not.

and you are confused because by reading these books you somehow have a twisted meaning of what fengshui is about.

fengshui is nature. it has been devised by the chinese about 4,000 years ago to increase crop yield. later it was used to win wars, now it is again adapted for everyday living. since fengshui is nature, it is more powerful than man. so, man cannot just arrange his/ her furnitures to make it luckier or make life better.

and another thing, at the center of fengshui are the fengshui methods which has been made to make fengshui easier to understand, measure, calculate and apply. fengshui is pretty much like math that it has its own system/s.

so, going back to your problem… it is better if you know some fengshui methods like flying stars. so, you know where to put your bedroom in the house. you house has a big space, inside the house, there are several spaces/ areas – some have good energy, while others have bad energy. this is based on the facing of your main door and the period you moved into the house. you can manipulate the energy distribution by tilting the main door (changing the facing).

put it this way, if your bedroom is correctly placed inside your house, then no matter which way you sleep – you will still have a good life, because the more your use your room, the more you activate the good energy that is in that area. so, you need to put your bedroom where the good energy is based on flying stars method.
