My birthdate is Sept. 30, 1955. In feng shui what should I do to boost my wealth, career relationship sectors?
there is really no such thing as the bagua method.
how do you boost wealth? many fengshui methods comes to mind, but all of them has something to do with your house. so i cannot really propose something, except – put a bucket of water at the west most of your house (not bedroom, even if you just live in that room; you cannot do this if the part is a bedroom); this method is only good for 2009, remove it when the year is done. it cannot win you a lot of money, but it can attract some money. replace the water every day.
relationship? get a book by lillian too, then calculate for your kua, and move your bed to face your relationship direction (based on 8 mansions not the bagua method). additionally, you can put 4 green living plants at the center of the house (again, not bedroom). again this will only work for 2009. remove them when the year is done. this will make your family closer.
I have a L shape glass desk how can I use Feng Shui in my home office?
I know L shape desk are not a good idea for feng shui, but I need to know what I can do to cure it and getting rid of it is not a solution. Please only answer question if you know a great deal about Feng Shui.
Thank you in advance.
L shaped desk – neither good nor bad in fengshui
you are confusing it with an L shaped room or an L shaped building, now that’s a problem. with an L shaped room, divide with a divider to have 2 rectangular rooms. with an L shaped building, move? or renovate.
besides fengshui is not totally about shapes of these things. it is more about where you put your home office. if you use fengshui methods like flying stars and 8 mansions to locate your desk in a location where there is good energy, then no matter what shape of desk you put in it, you are still going to have a good business in that desk. because of the good energy will still benefit you. the good energy that i am talking about is something that no person can sense or feel, it is not a vibe or a feeling when you enter a room. its location can only be calculated using the fengshui methods. and each combination of energy/s is formed when 3 elements combine based from the where the front main door of the house is facing/ where the original chi/ energy comes in.
in this analysis of energy, the 5 elements (fire, water, earth, wood and metal) are represent my numbers 1 to 9, each number represents a specific and unique form of energy, meaning the 5 elements can be subdivided into 9 different energies. when these combine, they form new energy that have unique characteristics. because of this characteristic, the new energy formed can either be good or bad for you. for exaample, an area has 8,8,1 this energy mean that the area is good for money making, but can be deadly for the elderly and the very young children, so an office or a kitchen would be okay for this area. having a kitchen in this area can mean that you wont get hungry. again the numbers are not designated because we want them there, but there is a formula using flying stars method.
this means that we need to know the energy distribution of the house first, before we can arrange which area in the house we can use as a bedroom, office, kitchen, etc.
if, on the other hand, we already have a house built, then we use the same technique to tilt the main front door to shift the energy distribution in the house. in most cases, there will be compromise in here, but there will be little renovations than the other way around.
I know what fields I am interested in but I’m not sure how to (in any combination) combine them into a career?
I am really interested in and regularly study, all-natural remedies (such as detox and aromatherapy), ancient theology, feng shui and interior design.
I’m kind of pulling away from interior design. I know that I am interested in doing my own home and helping with my friends’ and familys’ homes but I’m one of those high maintenance girls that freaks out when she has so much glue on her fingers that they are sticking together.
I am also pulling away from health; I would study on my own anyway and put what I studied into practice but I don’t know that I have enough a desire to get my degree in it as I hate chemistry and I’m not the greatest mathematician.
More than anything else, I am into ancient theology. I study it daily several times a day and will talk about it with anyone that will listen but I’m not sure how many options I have in that field. I would love any advice that anyone has for me. Thanks.
Invest a few hundred dollars in a career/life coach. They will be able to set you on the right path and you won’t have to waste any time trying to figure it out alone.
What is the best way to start learning and applying feng shui?
I am intrested in learning feng shui but, I am not sure where to begin. I tried consultants but, most of them want to charge over $300.00. I don’t have that kind of money.
Try your local community college to see if they offer a continuing education couse. There are also a lot of book available on this topic
What causes a bad luck streak? Is it Feng Shui?
It seems ever since I moved my couch from one side of the room, to the adjoining wall, hell has broken loose! My husband’s perfect job went downhill, our relationship is suffering so badly, I’m considering divorce, and my in-laws have driven me to considering leaving my husband.
I believe in Feng Shui, I have a fish tank in my wealth area that helped for a brief period of time. I need help because it’s so unbearable living like this!
I know what you mean when you have nothing but bad luck. I don’t think its just your couch, you really need some positive energy. I would strongly suggest getting a Feng Shui Kit. They have them for home, marriage and some other ones. It really helped me. It comes with a book that give you all kinds of tips and helps you see things in a positive way. Also try reading inspirational books Don’t wait to long! myshui has the best kits
This is a feng shui question?
A cure that I came across indicates that I need to put a mirror on the outside of the bathroom door. However it would face a staircase going down. At the bottom of the staircase is a closet (closed) Would it still be okay to have the mirror in this position? Feng Shui knowledgable people only please.
Thanks for the first answer. That has reminded me of another question. My wealth corner is in the kitchen where the back door is and the fridge blocks somewhat the view of the back door There isn’t a chance of moving it. Could I just emphasize the wealth corners of every room? My personal success corner is in the North.
Metal isn’t good for me but is indicated to represent wealth : any suggestions?
Actually, unless you are attempting to revert bad energy that according to Feng Shui practices can result in money draining out of your bank account as quickly as you get it (money down the toilet/drain?), the mirror isn’t absolutely necessary. In that situation, simply ensuring the toilet seat is down and door closed all the time can improve the situation almost immediately.
If you still need to reflect the bad energy or fast chi running through the home, especially if your front door and your back door/patio door are in direct line to one another, you can forgo the mirror and place a small crystal ball at the top of the doorway. Hang it with a green ribbon (denoting money). In the hallway from the front to back door, to allow the good energy to slow down, placing a round table (small decor table) or a rounded leaf plant (not fake) in a larger vase, also rounded, can make a difference. You can also purchase rounded columns made from plaster or clay that a vase and plant can sit upon which doesn’t create a loss of space in the hallway.
If your stairway leads directly out the front door…try placing a fountain near the door, a gently flowing fountain can encourage money to flow into the home. A fountain shouldn’t be placed in the back yard however, as this can encourage money to flow out of the home as fast as it flows in.
Also, place money oriented objects within your Wealth corner of the home…gold coins (Chinese if you can find them, the ones with open squares in the center), or coins of any denomination, a bank with money in it that you faithfully add to (preferrably a green bank) and of course a Money tree is always a good addition in this corner as well.
Do each change in your home, one by one…and hold off on doing more until you see the effects of the first. Too many changes can result in not knowing what to correct first.
When it all works tho, it works very well. Good luck

Looking for fun ideas for bathroom, but want to incorporate feng shui?
We are remodeling our kitchen and putting in a half bathroom. The toilet and corner sink will be black. (The washer and dryer will also be in the same room.) The room is located in the "wealth"/ "health and family" areas of the house. With the black toilet and sink, I thought about doing a Mary Englebreit kind of decor. I would like to do something whimsical, but if that’s not "feng shui" enough for the location of the bathroom, I would love to hear some ideas. (I’m pretty sure that we are already starting with bad feng shui with the bathroom being right next to the kitchen!)Thanks in advance for any ideas!
i dont know anything about interior decorating. i just know fengshui.
regarding the kitchen and toilet, there is a fengshui secret that you can consult a fengshui master or a practitioner how to position and locate the stove and the toilet, so that the more you use it, the more you attract wealth into your life. the formulas are pretty complicated to include here.
next, it is not adviseable to decorate the bathroom/ toilet, because it can complicate the lives of the occupants of the house. for example, if you put a plant or some flowers in a toilet located at the west side of your house, your daughter (if you have one) can have a boyfriend who has a bad influence on your daughter and have a rebellious tendencies. and you cant do anything about it.
the same goes with the kitchen.
fengshui and architecture/ decoration usually dont go hand in hand. because fengshui has some rigid rules and formulas, while on the other side, architects and designers wants freedom of expression. fengshui is not about design nor decoration. it is not about painting your house mint green and you will feel calm and cool. it is about measurements and calculations that your house can be optimize for the occupants to have better lives by attracting money and health into their lives.
Feng Shui cure: How can I cure the BIG water elements in Fire area of my house?
My house has a kitchen sink, a dish washer, and a washer/dryer in south side of my house, which is Fame/Reputation/Fire area. so I have massive water elements that can’t be moved in Fire area. Are there any good cure for this?
in short: red, orange, yellow, pointy elements, stars, candles.
Feng Shui – Coffin Position?
What’s so bad about sleeping in the coffin position? My room is designed so that is the only way my bed will go, unfortunately.
If your feet facing the door, just sleep the order way.
